Preparativos para a Copa do Mundo em 2014 :: Preparations for the World Cup in 2014

A Secretaria de Turismo de Lençóis, na segunda feira, dia 10 de janeiro, entregou a SECOPA e ao Comitê da FIFA, o 2º relatório que teve por finalidade, prover um diagnóstico mais detalhado dos potenciais Centros de Treinamento das Seleções (CTS) e hotéis que poderão ser selecionados para utilização durante a Copa do Mundo FIFATM Brasil 2014. Diferente do primeiro relatório, entregue em abril de 2010 que tratou da infraestrutura da cidade, o foco principal deste relatório faz um diagnóstico do campo de treinamento e análise dos possíveis hotéis candidatos a acomodar a delegação. Lençóis está sendo preparada para receber uma equipe da copa (base camp). O próximo passo é a visita que os delegados da FIFA a Lençóis.

This monday, 10th of January, the Secretary of Tourism of Lençóis handed in to the committee SECOPA (responsible brazilian committee for the World Cup) and to the FIFA committee a report aimed to prove a more detailed diagnosis about possible training centers for the football teams and hotels that could be selected for utilization during the FIFA World Cup TM Brazil 2014. Different from the first report, handed in in april of 2010, which was about the infrastructure of the city, the main focus of the latest report is the diagnosis of the training camp and analysis of the possible hotels to accomodate the delegations. Lençóis is being prepared to receive a World Cup team - a base camp. The next step is the visit of the FIFA delegates in Lençóis.
